Quiet was heard between the two, both too sleepy to even speak a word. The sky was dark with stars decorating it with the help of the moon as people's guide in the dark. The two flying figures wished to sleep, though they knew they couldn't. It was far too dangerous at the moment.

"King... how much longer until we reach this place?" (Y/N) complained, her eyes too heavy to keep them fully open. In response to her question, King shrugged as the green leopard continued to arrive at their destination.

"Not sure, I think we may be lost." King responded nonchalantly. Though, (Y/N) didn't see anything to be calm about. "We're lost?! King, you should have said something in the beginning then!" (Y/N) yelled at the small fairy in fury, she wanted to sleep now!

King winced and frowned, his head directed to look at the soft fabric of the pillow. "Well, I thought I was going the right way, but it turns out I wasn't." King lied, his eyes showing guilt. He didn't wish to lie to (Y/N), but if this was the only way then he saw no way around it. Calming herself down (Y/N) again placed her head on top of King's legs and sighed.

"What now then? We're lost and I don't know the way back, apart from that I'm dead tired and I think you are too. Do you think we should stop and rest?" (Y/N) asked King as her voice was becoming quieter by the second. Biting his lip King looked away from anywhere but her. "I know a place we can rest for a while, though I don't think we will be welcomed." King suggested, though his tone was hesitant.

At his words (Y/N) immediately got up from her lying position and turned towards King with a bright yet tired smile on her features. "Really? Well, no matter what I think they will welcome us. I have a way with people you see." (Y/N) proudly announced, her eyes shining like the full moon.

Laughing at her expression King shook his head and looked back at the sky, his eyes sad. "While that may be true, I did something that even I think they will never forgive." King breathed shakily, tears starting to sprout from his golden-brown orbs.

(Y/N) saw this and frowned. Getting closer to him (Y/N) lay down next to him and hugged him koala style, her hair getting everywhere. "If it makes you feel any better, I will be there for you. Sorry King, I don't know how to comfort people much, never really had much time to experiment on it." (Y/N) chuckled dryly. King hugged her back and shoved his face onto her shoulder, his tears starting to be soaked up by her clothing.

"Thanks... (Y/N)." King whispered, but (Y/N) heard this making her smile gently down at him. "Anytime, King." (Y/N) reassure him. Both of them stayed in the silence for a bit longer until (Y/N) ruined it by getting up and stretching, summoning her wings in the process.

"Well King, I think we should get to that place you were talking about. I don't think I will be able to keep myself awake for long." (Y/N) covered her mouth and yawned, stray tears starting to roll down her of cheeks. King smiled and also got up and wiped the tears away with his hand.

"Sure. Just promise me that you'll be there for me when I do, alright?" King questioned her, his eyes starting to show something unknown. Paying no attention to this (Y/N) nodded and laid back down with her wings wrapped around her for more comfort.

"While we're waiting to get there why don't we take a little nap? My wings will alert me and wake me up if we were in any type of danger so I guess well be fine." (Y/N) offered him, but King was already inside her white wings and snuggling closer to her.

"You guess? Well, I'm assured." King joked, though (Y/N) just posted at him and yawned again. "Very funny, now let's get some shut-eye, if the people you were talking about really don't like your guts then we'll just have to have some energy from when that happens." (Y/N) spoke softly, but before King could tell her something (Y/N) was already sound asleep.

Smiling sadly down at her King sighed and stared at her unique and beautiful features in wonder.

"(Y/N)... I think I might be falling for you."

"Were here, welcome to the Fairy Kings Forest." Finally arriving at their destination (Y/N) looked around in wonder. Everything was so lively and bright filled with different colors that she has never seen before. It was really worth coming on this trip.

King stared fondly at her awe-struck features, though something seemed off, not with (Y/N) but with this forest. Looking around cautiously he could hear the soft rustling of the leaves against each other and the chirping of the birds. He was surprised at how much the forest grew from ashes, but right now all that mattered was (Y/N) safety.

"Hey, (Y/N), I think this was a bad idea- (Y/N)?!" King exclaimed, looking around to try and find the (H/C)-haired female. Quickly running as fast as he could forward he saw (Y/N) admiring the flowers. Relaxing from his posture King walked towards her and sighed.

"(Y/N), don't go running off like that. It's dangerous here!" King warned her, but his words fell on deaf ears. Glancing over at King (Y/N) smiled at him and went back to admire the flowers. "Thanks for the concern, King, but I don't think I need it since right now we're being surrounded and your fellow race seems to be putting all their bad feeling towards you, not me." Once finished with her sentence rocks were thrown towards King but thankfully (Y/N) used her protector spell to shield it from him.

"That's no way to treat your king." The tiny fairies turned towards the newfound voice and saw a tired female walking towards them and stood in front of the mysterious dome protectively. One voice was brave enough to speak up, it was a him with bright green eyes and purple hair.

"He's no king! He never was and will never be! Not after he abandoned us!" The purple-haired guy said, his eyes blazing with hatred. Sighing, (Y/N) smoothed out her hair and sharply looked back at the faires, even when she was tired she was still able to put some of her old dominance on others.

"So? All of you have done wrong, so has he. King is no different from the rest of you. Only because his sin is different from yours doesn't mean anything, it just means that it's unique." (Y/N) said, her eyes getting more mature-looking.

The five fairies looked at each other and back at the mysterious girl with curiosity. "Who even are you?" A young-looking girl said, her bubble gum pink hair shining under the sun like a stream of gold. (Y/N) chuckled at this question and looked back at the five.

"I have many names, but I suppose the one that you know best is Eir." (Y/N) responded. At this newfound information, the five fairies immediately paled and stepped away from the girl, and left.

(Y/N) sighed at this action and turned towards where King was and let down the spell. King immediately walked out and looked up at (Y/N) in wonder. "Are you really Eir? The one who beat the first fairy king in a game of hide-and-seek?" King asked her, but instead of his tone holding fear, it instead held wonder making (Y/N) raise her brow in surprise.

(Y/N) chuckled and pat King's head affectionately. "Indeed I am Eir, but please continue calling me (Y/N), those nicknames are annoying." (Y/N) yawned and went over towards a fluffy-looking flower was and sat down. King followed right behind her and plopped down. Turning his attention to her King again asked her questions.

"Is it true that you actually spared his life after he tried killing himself due to losing?"

"How old are you exactly?"

"Is it correct that you gave the Fairy King Forest the fountain of eternal youth?"

"How many nicknames do you have?"

(Y/N) looked towards King and sighed, though a smile was still on her face. "Questions, questions, but barely enough patience to answer them all in their time." (Y/N) whispered to herself.

Looking back up at the sky the moon was now in its brightest moment making (Y/N) sigh and lay down on the fluffy flower.

"Come on, they won't try anything as long as your with me. Besides, my wings will keep you safe." (Y/N) assured King making him softly put himself next to her, and lay down awkwardly. Without allowing him a second to relax he was caught in the arms of (Y/N) as both of them snuggled close towards each other.

"Good night, King." (Y/N) said for the second time that night. King smiled gently up at him and nodded. "Good night as well, oh good Eir."

"Oh, shut up."
